Culture Revolution
According to Little Green by Chun Yu, The Great Proterian Culture Revolution was from 1966 to 1976. This time period was the rein of Chairmen Mao. Chairman Mao ruled china or the Middle Kingdom with his red guards. Most of the red guards were children to Teenager age. Chairman Mao told all of China that the old way must be destroyed and the red guards started with their own family.
Since Chun Yu was born near the yellow sea , like Yancheng and Yanzhou many things happened their. People had to move out and be reeducated from Mao's little red book. Some had to move to the Country side and leave their city home behind.
Then Chairman Mao went to Tibet and had them burn down temples and force monks to get married and move to the east. The fourteenth Dali Lama and several followers followed him to India before any of this could happen.
It wasn't until 2008 that the world knew that during the Culture Revolution was horro for monks, but French and english people don't know that China's changed and Captilizum has flourished. Many people now have high pay, fancy cars , and 4 bedroom apartments.
Even Tibet has shown economic progess with night clubs and famous singers and advertismernt. There are also cars and highways. Without China , Tibet wouln't survive because there is little jobs there and little pay. China has given them pensions and other benifets to let them survive. The Chinese government is also building fancying homes for Tibetians.
